On October 28, 2020, in the conditions of restrictive measures related to the coronavirus pandemic, the Municipality of Mezdra held an introductory introductory press conference on the project “Joint efforts against natural disasters, ROBG 416, which is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. Interreg VA Romania-Bulgaria.

The event was attended by representatives of the municipal administration, representatives of local media and stakeholders. Representatives of the Romanian partner, the Gendarmerie Service in the county of Mehedinti (Romania), also joined the press conference online. The project "Joint efforts against natural disasters" is implemented jointly by the Municipality of Mezdra (Bulgaria), as a leading partner and the Gendarmerie Service in the county of Mehedinti (Romania) - a partner in the project.
